On the 8th of June 2024 Lapin Lumia ‘Stella’ Nova was born in Switzerland 🇨🇭
We now know better than anyone else, that you can’t plan everything in life. We wanted a new buddy for a long time and preferably an offspring of Rowan/Bosco. We haven’t had much luck with that so far, so yes… if Mother Nature gives us a female, we will go for her! 🤗 The timing is so good now and she is soooo wanted 🙏 We were very blessed to recieve some photos and videos from the breeder Suzanne regularly! We are so thankful!
We called her ‘Nova’, which means our a new star 🌟 She is the black & white girl. In September 2024 we picked her up in Switserland and we had a lovely holiday of two weeks there in the holidayhome of the breeder ⛰️😅 Those 2 weeks were so special. Just the 4 of us, it’s was the best start together. With 15 weeks we brought her home.
Fortunately, Nova was able to spend her first months at us with her father Rowan and learn a lot from him. Of course, we had hoped that it would have lasted much longer…

Nova is a very sweet and smart girl. Her coat colour changed a lot. So she is actually a sable, instead of a black & tan.
From a young age (16 weeks) we took her with us to the sheep. Off course not herdingtraining, but observing the sheeps and the dogs who worked with the sheep. In a vew weeks she was really interested and a vew months later we really started training with her and she is very fanatic! We are gonna have lot’s of fun there weekly.
In January 2025, Nova participated in avalanche work courses, but in the puppy version. We looked at what was possible, but she picked it up very well and trained nicely in the snow.
With Nova I started the basic course search- & rescue work and balance- and coördination lessons.
