A long cherished wish … we were able to welcome a son of our Bosco, grandson of Rowan. We are grateful that we were able to welcome a third generation. His name is Lappy Daydreams Wish for Golden Sun and his nickname is Olav. Named after his father who is called ‘Valo’ on his pedigree. Olav means the ‘son of his ancestors.’
Sunday January 26, 2025 Olav and his sister Kiana were born at kennel Lappy Daydream (Yvonne Kranenburg) from her lovely girl Esmi (Kielo Lilja Bronnesteyn). For both Yvonne and us it was a cherished wish to keep offspring of our own Finnish Lapphund and for her it was also a long and emotional roller coaster, but we succeeded eventually! We are eternally grateful for meeting this person 🙏 But the love for this breed unites people!
Because we collected semen from Bosco a vew years ago we had a change to still have offspring from him, after he died. ‘We bought some time’, but sadly he died much earlier then we expected, at the age of 9 🙁 So therefor Olav & his sister are very special Finnish Lapphund in the Netherlands.
Olav is a very cheerful, open and a bit clumsy guy. He makes us laugh a lot and Nova is so happy with him. We also hope to enjoy some dogsports with him and we hope to be able to use him for breeding in the future.
